Sonnet 1: Amidst stars
Amidst the Stars
Dealing amidst stars,
Dwelling among beams,
With two legs, two arms,
And a head full of dreams.
Human beings are stars,
Yet miss their worth,
Unique to the brim,
Their actions give birth.
They’re stars of the earth,
Twinkling through strife,
Strongest in darkness,
Through storms of life.
Though close in sight,
They hold their fate—
Rain may fall hard,
But they’ll never abate
