look deep in to my brown eyes

do you see the sorrow and pain

the pain that crys out

do you see the woman

I could be

or the woman you want me to be

the struggle of my life

the sorrow behind the pain

of these brown eyes

the broken pieces

as the shader pieces

lay on the floor beneath

I layed on the floor crying

just for my life to end

to have a life of dreams

crying for my heart

to be complete

with a reason

for the pain to stop

as I make a path

out of the darkness

as the life begins

within me.
