Unchained
In shadows deep, where fear did bind,
I found the strength within my mind.
No more the dark my soul entwines,
For light above, in brilliance, shines.
Gone are clouds that sought to maim,
My spirit now, no longer tame.
Sweet release from lingering pain,
A healing heart, no more in chains.
Healing rains, a soothing choir,
Quench the flames of scorching fire.
In their dance, all fears are torn asunder,
Destroying all that seeks to plunder.
From ashes rise a spirit strong,
Defying odds, where I belong.
The storms have passed, the battle won,
In newfound peace, my soul is spun.
Now unafraid of the dark's embrace,
I stand with courage, finding grace.
In every trial, I have found,
Strength within, a solid ground.
