Glimpse of Tomorrow
Every day, I wake up early,
I want to see the sunrise
To fuel my energy
With the spice of ginger
That was poured down my throat,
With the burning winter
That summons my coat
Nevertheless, I remained fruitful
Roaming around the house,
Flexing muscles in the right places
When the time comes that my body hurts,
My eyes twinkle with delight
For I know, my pain means life
And the cure is I must keep going
Every day, I wake up early
With sleepy eyes, shined with glare
To see the sun rise from the horizon,
With the king beaming warmth
What I love about morning is
I get a glimpse of a new beginning. 💛
