On the inside I'm just a little girl looking for reassurance and a will to keep going. I'm looking for somebody to slow me down and tell me what I'm not doing right. I don't need you yelling at me and calling me names while I stand there and look dumb. I don't need you to cut me off and call me a liar when I try to explain myself. You look at me and see yourself, that's my guess as to why you treat me this way. You see your teenage self in me and see all the mistakes she made, see all the pain from your past and you want to change my fate but what you don't know is your unconsciously deciding it.

On the inside I'm just a little girl looking for her mummy to come save her from the nightmare and bad thoughts that she (mum) has created.
