2020 was the year of my mental breakdown
It was the year I lost myself
2020 was the year of my down hill spiral
2020 was the year I opend up to my wife
As I told her all the stuff I had held in for 14 years
As it was about her past and how her family had treated her
As that was the year that began my journey to find myself
As we fast forward to 2022
As I think I all most finding myself
As I just had my forth kid
As I'm starting to see therapist
Seeing a therapist for my mental health
Fast forward to 2023
Everything seems like it's going good
It seems like I found myself finally
Then in a blink of an eye my life was going to change
As I got a text from my best friends wife that said she freaking out
As she told me she got a call from my best friend
She said he was mumbling and crying and saying he is sorry
As a few minutes past by my best wife text me again
She said he's gone
She said he hung him self
As I said WHAT
Fast forward 2024
My depression is messing with me again
As I'm not taking the lost of my best friend that was like brother very well
Then I started talking with my kids and my wife
As they wish they had the old me back
The old me that showed emotion
Then I was like something needs to give
As I was like 2024 is the year to get me back
Not just for me but for my wife and kids
As 2024 is the year
