see-through fading
This used to be a rusty place surrounded by colours.
The oxygen felt like a good friend that liked being your host.
Its guests felt like there was always an escape from vanity.

Now everyone is oxidized, drowning in a glass of water.
Can't go out of it to find out who the outsider is.
Thus we've turned into a pale orange throughout the years.

The rust remains in our being while trying to feel free off the chemicals.
Rotting organisms defined by weakness and void.
As the blue in the sky is a human's illusion, hence your pale orange is as satisfying.
