In the depths of my heart,
there's a place that's kept bare,
it whispers to me,
saying, "Beware, beware."

As I sit in my chair,
curled up tight,
my eyes are shut,
bracing for the night.

Hoping that someday,
my fears will subside,
that I won't have to run,
or feel the need to hide.

The emptiness keeps murmuring
about my impending doom,
all I can do
is wait in this gloom.

As the void gets nearer,
and swallows me whole,
my spirit starts to flicker
as darkness takes its toll.

My essence shall remain there,
fading away,
my chair enveloped
in nothing but decay.
