I now know peace
I have known fear, pain, and tragedy. I have been broken and yet refused to see. That only through those moments could I truly be. Born of a love that consumes me. A mended and better than ever before woman of truth and peace. Able to live a life filled with release. Of the poison that invaded my soul. I am now a woman, a friend, a person who is whole. It took the worst of all I could see and do. To be the woman who is here with you. Thank you God for all the hard things you threw my way. Because I am a soldier because of it today. I'll never be perfect but peace I now know. And with each breath I take I grow.
