When you neglect the Caretaker
All because he makes your heart aflutter
When you forget the one you should really give your heart and soul to
Yet another you blindly pursue
Struggling to bid adieu, you refuse to start anew
When you give your heart away and put it in the wrong hands
All because you think your heart withstands
When you don't see the one and Supreme Being
So you think He's not guaranteeing
When you turn your back to the King
And try to replace Him with a fling
When you treat someone else as your Almighty
And worship them like your deity
Due to your so-called affinity
When you adore a human and always making concessions
Overlooking the fact that he's also one of His many creations
You might just meet yourself in a plod
When you forget that the only one to give your whole heart, soul and adoration to...is the one true GOD.
