You tread in the water and float above waves.
The water curves and turns into foam along the sandy shore.
The waves peaceful but scary.
Some are smooth and small
while others are huge and rough.
Some people fear the giant wall of water
Rushing and rolling towards them
Others take those waves and glide on them
And sometimes they dive right into them.

On certain days when the sky is blanketed with gray clouds
The temperatures cool and the wind whistles
The waves get angry
They crash and roar
Their powerful slams knock down even the toughest
And the water feeling like cold ice shards
Breathe escapes mouths and they once out from under the water
Leave and don’t pursue.

Some days when the sun is out and birds gilde the skyline
Temperature warm and comforting
The waves peaceful and lapse into the fine sand
People casually swimming and playing in the ocean.
They pursue and long not to leave.
