The Flight of the Eagle
Mind on fire, heart light,
I took my leap, soared into flight,
The waves roared, the winds howled,
I felt like an eagle in full control.
The sea stretched out as far as the eye could see,
Its wild waves dancing under the moon's decree,
I stood tall, on the edge of the cliff,
Gazing at the vastness, admiring its wild riff.
Suddenly, a wave taller than the rest,
Rose up, majestic, imposing, the best,
Without a second thought, I jumped into the abyss,
Ready to challenge the elements, to conquer the bliss.
In the air, the wind carried me,
My body free, my mind light and carefree,
I felt alive, free like never before,
As if nothing could ever stop me, and much more.
The icy water engulfed me whole,
Its furious breath carrying me like a foal,
I fought, I swam, I survived,
And for a moment, I knew I was invincible, truly revived.
I emerged from the water, exhausted but triumphant,
My body trembling, my heart still fervent,
I gazed at the ocean, this immense force,
And for a moment, I knew I was alive, no remorse.
