Choosing my battles
I'm not even going to fight, it just isn't worth it
I've been here before, this is nothing new
While you're out getting drunk; me and the kids are at home waiting for you
It's not worth the yelling or fighting it's true
I no longer have the strength to fight this battle with you
You win every time simply by default
I give up because you always make it my fault
Tonight you'll come home and I'll have two choices, stay silent or make things worse
I choose option two, because I know you when you're drunk
You act like an over grown teenage punk
No, I'll just sit here and put on a smile, I've gotten good at faking; I've done it for quite awhile
