I wish I could say goodbye with love
an angel in the sky with God above
passing away in your sleep with grace
I held and kissed your beautiful face.
I broke down & cried for a day or so
when you passed away, I felt real low
I opened my eyes & I heard your yells
loving me when you weren't too well.
I wasn't in the room that fateful day
you died alone when you passed away
my biggest regret since I was eighteen
you struggled a lot behind the scenes.
My friend and brother you are to me
no longer sick and you're finally free
I held and kissed your face for a while
I miss the most is your beautiful smile.
