None The Wiser
A play where I had no role to lay,
A past which I came to regret,
A present which had no one to appreciate,
A future where I had wished you to stay.

If misery had no place to grieve,
You ripped a home in me for it to lodge away.
My sweet treasure that I chased 'til my sanity went insane,
Can you grace me with a chance to plead
'Til my heart digs out words to please?

It ached all too great for me to wrestle my way in again,
Guess I will only linger in a hole where all the forgotten hide away.
My cherished moon, if a burning star is so ever close,
Can you mourn the loss of its fire?

As deep as I'm forced to bury our memories,
My candle blows its last breath,
As you took all the light and vanished away.
