Gloom,
Despondency,
Everyone was impacted,

Sorrow, suffering and anguish,
It was the same everyday,

There was no night or day,
There was no light,

Tribal killings,
People who kill on sight,

Terrorist assaults,
Suffering for humanity,

caused many to lose hope
and envision the end,

However, one morning, the sun did rise
And there was light.
