The mirror image of life
#WritcoPoemChallenge
Into the flames rising out of a setting sun,
I draw in a deep breath before I run...
For the night comes and the evil Lurks.
A formless thing out to get me,
Fate and I know how this night Ends:
Me gutted on your macabre Shrine, you whose name must Never be voiced.
My legs slowed as if in a dream,
And then the beast I see,
Grining like a cat playing with his Mice.
Now my tale must pause for a Chance to retell,
When we meet again at Styx.
Goodbye
