Tonight the moon shone
big and bright.
The trees swayed
back and forth.
The birds stopped their chatter,
drowning the night in silence.

Only my musings were loud.
Throwing themselves against the finite boundaries of my physical brain,
yet extending to infinity.

The chaos filled the silence,
both fighting for their place.
Yet I found peace,
rivetting my eyes on the orb of night.
