Wake up to the rising sun
A bouncing baby has been born
Heaven went against her will
By sending such black angel
To right the Earth's wrong

You came here crying
As you saw your people in great pain
Though rain was falling
We weren't experiencing the blessings
And this was why your heart was broken

There was a great shout for joy
As the doctor came with smiling face
To announce the birth of another saviour
Coming full of heavenly gifts
That are able to conceal the shame of our nakedness
