I think I’m starting to fall again
but things are different from how they’ve been.
he is just someone new…
someone who is far from you.
he never tells me to have a good night
or asks me if my days been alright
in fact, he rarely has anything to say.
yet here I am, wanting him to stay.
And I wait and I wait for his name on my phone
but when we actually are talking, I’ll still feel alone.
he just doesn’t make me feel like you made me feel
and now I know those feelings can be real.
so when I think I’m starting to fall,
I’ll look back to my memory wall,
and I’ll think back to you,
and how I just knew.
