In my mind, all head I waited for a thought
Something deep I could brainstorm, but I admit I will forget
Somehow I do not mind, though I love the mental pictures
And I love the mentality of my brain
How many thoughts are there mentally
That's what men tally, especially when nerves are nervous
And when the impulse skips a cell

They say love is the key, so it's really hard to keep an open mind
So I lock you inside my head so you won't ever escape my thoughts
So, I thought that it won't feel the same, and
Don't think that I can't see it in your head
Darling, we both knew it from the start
Some thoughts are better kept apart

Here, I cross my mind in a most peculiar way
Watching memories at the back of my mind and I swallow so hard
Scratching my hair off, cracking my skull in meditation
Am I too weak to fight? As the thought becomes an action
And I don't want it to be an abstraction
And in my subconscious that where you find closed doors

Some thoughts are better kept apart
