As I, who is alone, must suffer
with the thought of an ex lover
You carry on with your life and I must live with the consequences,
Painful and hurt is all that I get, In a void struggling to get out,
As the darkness deepens
In the beginning, it was me and you,
Sweet and caring,
Helpful and loving
And together.
