Grace Unveiled: A Good Friday Poem
In shadows draped, the world stands still,
Upon a hill, a solemn hill,
Where grace and mercy intertwine,
In every drop of blood, divine.
A cross, a symbol stark and bold,
Yet in its agony, grace unfolds.
A sacrifice of love profound,
On Good Friday, redemption found.
The thorns that pierce, the nails that bind,
Speak of a love that's unconfined.
Through suffering, a greater plan,
Reveals the grace of God to man.
In darkness shrouded, yet light shines,
Hope arises, salvation signs.
For on this day, the greatest price,
Was paid with grace, the ultimate sacrifice.
So let us pause and contemplate,
The depth of love, the hands that wait.
For on this Good Friday, we embrace,
The grace that fills this sacred space.
