Rising oceans,
A warming globe,
Savage storms,
A warning foretold...
Like the earth as in us
So too is life’s tale told
Its a plea for help
As the impact starts to take hold
Savage storms within
Is a message so clear
But where to begin
How to navigate
Through one’s own unrest
We can’t wait for it all to abate
Storms of doubt may brew
Threatening to consume
To obscure our view
Like the earth we must find a way
To rise above the challenges
And greet another new day
In the rising ocean and warming globe
Lies the seed for resilience
And eventually hope.
