Gone So Soon
It pains us to the bones and the marrows,
She used to have the cutest smile I've ever known.
Her ebony skin was none to compare,
The news of her death was a nightmare.
I know I shouldn't sorrow but, it pains so much,
Especially, now that I remember her smiles and her blush.
I know we only part to meet again,
When death knocks who is man to bargain.
Rest on dear sister, mother, and one of God's earthly choristers,
As the angels welcome you with songs to your home above.
And in a blink you see come through all your desires,
As your live on in your heavenly father's love.
The pains we feel, nothing can compare,
But, you have only gone home, with that we'er comforted.
Live on our sister, singer, mother and dear,
And sit forever on the heavenly throne, where Christ's seated.
