The Quiet Strength
#WritcoPoemPrompt60
Ignore those who always belittle and trivialize.
As long as grass still grows and birds still flies,
The ridicule of others is nothing but words.
So, pace yourself, take your time, and lie low.
The fruits of your labour will eventually show.
Through valleys deep and mountains high,
Your spirit soars, it will not die.
The world may test, the road may bend,
But with each dawn, your strength will mend.
In quiet strength, you’ll forge ahead,
While others race, you’ll walk instead.
For paths well-travelled often fade,
While you, with patience, build your trade.
The world may call your dreams a lie,
But you’ll see...
