Love has made me a mess
It tore me apart at the seams
It made me rush, it made me blush
And I gave him joyful screams
We don't need suits nor feather coats
To make our love fair well
A smile a poem, a quick note to show him
And it makes the two of us shine
Love has torn people apart
Like the letters you wrote when we couldn't talk
We bonded closer than ever
Try to pry us - I cry at the thought
And we are closer than ever
Through tireless attempts to pay us
And even those of our own, forever glad I'm with you
And that our care is shown
So I admit to all who can see I say
