They say keep your dreams alive but Hope is a skyscraper and I’m scared of heights,
I want to expect good things
I deserve to believe you’d bring me flowers and write me songs and our love could be something made for the movies.
I expect clear skies and if it rains I wouldn’t pull out an umbrella instead I’d kiss you or dance in the splatters ,
let the shivers come after.
I expect soft days and if thunderstorms graces the skies, I’d pose for a picture underneath the Lightning’s flash.
I’m not committing a crime for believing there’s is good in people,
and you are not a bad person for proving me wrong.
