- Once upon a night
The words I wrote
Once upon a night
I placed upon a note
To the ceiling eyes
The letters just
Between those words
Are the winds
Guiding the birds
An alluring gust filled
The humid air
Cause I laid eyes on
An angel so fair
Her words and mystique
Left me without any speech
Her hair and her eyes
Left the stars without any shine
And I wanted nothing more
But for this angel to be mine
As I made my way
Back to where I lay
I thought upon a night
Was one that I prayed
The words I wrote
I placed upon a note
In my mind
Towards the ceiling eyes
I never knew
Just how much
I needed
You
