Indelible days
Once upon my childhood's stage,
When youth's adventure flowed,
In tender years, a budding age,
With innocence bestowed.

Reminiscing on those golden rays,
That life's canvas did decree,
I recall the games of yesteryears' days,
In memory's embrace, they're free.

The make-believe, beneath my bed,
Where aliens danced in mind's array,
Toy bikes raced, pillows were flung,
In laughter's joyful fray.

These echoes, they linger still,
In today's bustling scene,
Yet ponder I, why hearts don't thrill,
To childhood's timeless sheen.

Cartoons of old, our animated friends,
Ignited sparks of fervent zeal,
Summer's call, the joy it sends,
In memories, it's still real.

Tree-climbing escapades, sibling spats,
A routine of shared delight,
Kite fights in summer's windy chats,
In gusts that held us tight.
