Why I keep smiling
by myself alone in the dark.
With your presence
on the next line
Along with thoughts
of how you are mine.
It gives me a luminous spark
like how you brighten up my day
Why I feel anxious for late replies
Were your messages are nothing but lies?
Why I suddenly tear up
also been eaten away
with numbing doubts.
Yet your encouraging words
lift me back up
Embraced me with passion
The one I only yearn .
The reason why I see rainbows
on rainy days
You've been my knight,
my saviour from my own fight.
Between the thought of losing you someday
which I dread most
Either being with each other's arms and never be lost.
Hopeful from your kindness
I keep thinking how im so blessed
When you came on me
like a water on a parched tree.
You ignited me from apathy
Breached my walls and took me sweetly to freedom.
And that is the reason why
The thought of without you,
I feel like I could die.
