In our desperation to be understood
We sometimes forgettin to be good
Mindlessly asserting what we know
Leaving No chances for them to blow.

We long to be understood
To be listened to and look good
We feel mighty and high
When People exalt us with their lies.

Doesn't matter,whether it's a lie, does it?
For that's what makes you feel alive.
Everyone's story to you doesn't count
Thinking yours is better and paramount.

My friend, each of us has a story to tell
Comically made, and some we can't bear
Forsake not the teachings of our elders
In order to be understood, listen first.
