My Black Hero
A Black Queen
Fixer of things
She builds walls with Ideas,
And build homes with her love,
Her words are like swords that pierce the heart,
And soften the soul,
Her tongues breed wisdom.

A Black Queen
A child on her back,
A bucket on her head,
Her hands fix meals,
She spared not the rod and spoiled not the child
She sang melodies to my infant's head.

A Black Queen
Her beauty does not crack,
She's ageless and bold,
She toils in the rain and the sun
Her Family, her priority.

A Black Queen
A virtuous woman,
Selfless and kind
Cherish her like Treasures
And watch her radiate.

A Black Queen
Her smiles are contagious
Her eyes shine bright like diamonds
How colorful is her skin?
Her skin glows in the dark,
Oh! The dangling curls on her hair
In her shadows, you see grace.

A Black Queen
She's fearless,
A warrior and a leader,
Her strength is unfathomable,
Her voice is magical.

A Black Queen,
She slays in her Complexion,
And fears no ridicule,
Do you have a black woman?
Treat her right,
Tell your girls,
Black women rule,
Tell your girls,
Black is Beautiful.
