When I held your hand
And our eyes locked with eachother
Time failed to slow down
Somewhere between now and forever

Careless about the world watching us
We danced beneath the chandelier of stars
The celestia revolving around us
As the euphoria slowly wrapped our scars

We were poetry
Lacking rhyme
Waiting to be read
For the days to come by

If only my stars were right
I could have you by my side.
Now when I look at the moon,
I wonder, are you gazing at it too?
