poem to Obama
You have paved the way for people like me, you went beyond boundaries to set the captive free. Your love for humanity restored our sanity, when we feel all hope is lost, you proved to us that you got what it takes to complete the task. They were many before you and what they failed to do, you said yes i can, a super human not just a man. You heard the cries of the world, you fed hungry boys and girls, reach out to the hopeless, reassured them and help them to cope. You preach peace and love wherever you go, you are a natural philanthropist, you not putting on a show. A blessing to many, a savior of color, we adore and honor, we followed your foot steps so we never lost sight of the vision you set before us, a day of solace and great surplus. You perform miracles without knowing, you have been missed by many and the distress showing, but you left something so precious with us and it lives within. A king and you never been crowned, you are like a sheriff who doesn't arrest, rather preach peace and love throughout an unruly town. A gift not just to America but to all nations, we are able to stand and accept true liberation. Smile because we deserve to, welcome the truth because many centuries we had been lied to.
