The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors.
The situation was clear,
Difficult and hard to bare,
Helplessly we had to stare
As the nation fell in despair.
Helpless and afraid,
On our knees we prayed,
That the sun would rise,
With hope drawn on its rays.
