If you've accepted failure,
embarassment,
rejection, and discomfort,
to be just part of growing pains
a bumpy road geared
towards learning and adjustment
Then you know
that it is-
when you danced in the rain
where you attained a firm footing
from unsure steps
to gaining more balance
and confidence
each step becoming even more
gracious and elegant
you look back
and realize,
the mistakes you made
are the necessary circumstances
that honed and poised you
to be who you are,
so how can you not
love discomfort and pain
when staying where you are
as you are
for a very long time
is rather more scary
being trapped in stagnancy
just because it is-
safe and comfortable
a life of regret
masked in anger
and a diminished sense of self
so I ask again
how can you not love
discomfort and growing pains?
