In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone.
I tried to wriggle out,
the end was just as good as not.

You left me in a mess,
with a heart bleeding like that time of the month,
No matter how hard I try,
I just can't seem to let go.

please come back to my arms,
And let this eternal pain stop.
I'm sure whenever you come,
My heart will be as good as new.
