(Until it’s you)-part 1

Here lies the life of a tired soul.
He was fighting demons daily all his life and nobody knowed.
She was struggling with her mental health.
She kept all her inner pain inside.
Because she felt she couldn’t trust a soul.
He wouldn’t open up about his pain.
He felt the weight of the world on his shoulders.
He tried to seek help but he realized the world has only gotten colder.
She would break down and cry every single night.
She tried her best to fight the good fight.
But life got the best of her.
She grown tired of holding on tight.
He was breaking down.
The world was beating him down.
His loved ones wasn’t there to hold him up.
Everybody was shocked at the fact that he was still even standing up.
He cried out for help.
She cried out for help.
People only scoffed at them.
Now look at y’all now you’re crying for them.

You’re crying for them.
Wishing they was still here.
When they was here fighting for their lives y’all would only disappear.
When they was here crying their eyes out y’all wouldn’t even offer them a shoulder to lean on.
Or a pillow to sleep on.
When they was here needing someone to talk to y’all wasn’t offering to be a listening ear and if you were it was only to make yourselves feel better while you take a dump on their names behind their back.
Mocking their struggles.
Calling them weak and wack.
Now your stomach is in a knot.
You’re still here.
And you’re left wondering why they’re not.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Y’all could’ve been a better help.
But instead y’all turned y’all noses up thinking you were better because you learned how to be a fraud.
Covering up all your pain.
Wearing that hurt on your backs.
Now y’all think y’all are “God”.
Y’all thought y’all beat the odds because y’all didn’t have the courage to do such a horrific thing like they did.
But don’t say you would never.
Don’t say you could never.
Don’t say it’ll never be you.
Because when it’s all said and done you’d never know what you would do in a situation when you’re so fed up, tired, and through.
You just never know what you would or wouldn’t do until it’s you.
