Miles passed one by one,
The journey had begun
Over water and land
Through the desert sand.

As mist settles on the plains
The path wains
Looking ahead
The bobbing of a head

Two minds
Soon to collide
Both treading
Embarking on a new heading

With so much fog
I could have been a frog
Hopped on by
Or eaten like a fly

In a moment all the fog cleared
Just disappeared
There you were
Down my cheek rolled a tear.

You smiled and looked at me.
Unlocking my heart with the only key.
Opening a door
I never saw.
