Overthinking
Overthinking
When gray fills the heart with gloom
In the midst of serene doom
Various doubts clash, they loom
Lingering sorrow refuses to bloom
Dreams lure, longing for delight
Though hopes slowly lose their might
Steps slow, battling the night
Noise illusions, out of sight
Leaning on uncertain ways
Feeling what hasn’t been in days
The fog of emotions sways
Seeking meaning in silent haze
Cornered alone at day's end
With emptiness, my sole friend
Waiting for dawn to send
Hoping darkness will soon bend
If happiness is trapped tight
Let my fatigue unveil the light
In silence, finding what's right
Allow my soul to heal bright
