Here I stand drowning in my own tears,
I'm only realising now that I did this to myself,
All of it.
They had warned earlier on not to go too deep in,
The only problem is they didn't tell me why.
The biggest problem was I wanted to see, to experience, I wanted the feel.
To feel adrenaline rushing through my body, listening to nobody's advice
I guess it's true that, the best lessons are learnt the hard way.
I swear from now on I'm listening, I'm open to advice.
