I’ll never be a good friend for you.
I’m not the one you need.
The Things I need you find offensive,
so please just me be.

Perhaps it’s me that needs to change.
But I fear I’ll never change.
Our needs are different on so many levels
We’re Alike but not the same.

To have a friend, you have to be a friend
You often ask their name.
You get to know them by asking questions
You get to see their face.

There comes a point
when you began to realize
It’s time to walk away.
It’s pointless conversation
It’s constant long debates.

Debates about words
Debates about life
Debates about wrong and right
It’s easier to walk away
because I really don’t wanna fight.

I’m interested in a bond of friendship
You’ll never be able to give
Perhaps no one will, but that’s how I feel
Life is too short to give in.

Give in to meaningless friendships
One’s that just take up my time.
Give in to faceless strangers
Despite their beautiful mind.

It’s a pointless venture
to pursue a friendship
With someone you’ll never see.
Even elements would better then nothing
But ambiguity is not for me.

I wish you well in your interactions
It was pleasure reading your words
But I don’t agree with your outlook on life
You’re ambiguity has me concerned.

I’m sure you have your reservations
And honestly I feel the same.
But there comes a time to reveal the truth
And share more then just your name.

That being said, you can clearly see
That I’m not the friend you need.
Because I will always want more
then you’re willing to give
So please just let me be.
