She smiled a little but sadly that day
Trying to keep up with narcissistic society.
To the world she's just a mere soul
Only if they could see the spellworking in her eyes.

She didn't cry that day though her eyes betrayed her emotions
Least they say, pain leaves after teaching you life's lesson.
Aye! They tried to leave her in ruins
Not knowing, she's a born fighter destined to conquer.

A tiny tear took birth in her eyes that day,
A precious exhibition of pain and untold stories.
Yet they'll never know the depth of her wounds,
It's an ignition of a courage to fight her monsters.

They tried to break her but in vain,
Only if they knew, she's the epitome of courage.
And before the curtain falls as the darkness unfolds,
She dressed her wounds to face a new day afresh.
