In a world that's loud and bright,
She searches for a way to hide;
From the crowds that kill her soul,
She longs for a place to reside
The girl who once could light up a room,
Now wishes for just a moment of gloom;
Tired of the pressure to be outgoing,
And to keep her emotions glowing;
She craves for a chance to just be, herself
Without depending on anyone else
So she builds a shell of lonliness,
Where she can find her internal happiness
Where she can think and feel and see,
And rediscover her positivity.
For sometimes the beauty lies in being alone,
And being true to the person you've known;
So let her be an introvert, if she may,
So she'll find her peace in her own quiet way.
