In those cold and lonely nights
With everyone out of sight
I stare into the night
But I know, I won't give up this fight.
I know I might be all alone now
I might have no one to be there for me
None to share the pain, the misery with
But when I stare at those stars that brighten up my dark and lonely night
The moon glowing oh so beautifully in the silent night
I realise a beautiful thing
I'm not alone
For sorrow and pain may stay through the night
But joy comes in the morning
I know it's for a moment
I'll meet my loved ones again
But for the moment, I won't give up this fight
I'll return into their arms with joy
Making them proud of me
