I wish I could cry.
But the tears don’t fall from my soulless eyes.
I’m a broken faucet,
As if something has been removed from the emotional system.
I have detached from reality,
And the heavy emotions.
This happened long ago,
Where numb is the only emotion I can feel.
But that’s the problem.
Feeling numb isn’t feeling at all,
But instead an out of body experience.
Things are happening all around you,
But you are unable to react like you used to.
Tears can’t form behind my eyes,
And I realize that now,
I have been completely unhooked from the system of human nature.
