I met somebody
I met somebody
Who is innocent and sweet
Wearing the glasses
He smiles while he greets.

First time I saw him
One year back
Wearing pink t- shirt
With blue jeans pants.

I thought he was junior
So I didn't say much.
I don't even know him
As a junior as such.

Few days back
I saw him again
Come to know that
He is senior in age.

It was quite awkward
That I assume him a kid
His first impression
Was quite like journalist.

Talking about the politics and power
Suggested to open a cafe shop
Inviting bunking students of different schools
And the love birds, who were in mood.

I met somebody
Quite chubby and cute
Holding a pen, key
And a blue notebook.

Sitting besides me
Whispering something
Wearing the black shoes
And forget his socks.

It feels like invading
His privacy
This poetry you are listening
Is a symbol of this.

I met somebody
Who is gentle and kind
Sometimes I fear
That I may offend him any time.

Opening the camera
Zooming in and out.
He like peaceful surrounding
Away from the crowd.

Stories of tigers and tigress
Fight of betrayal among them.
Should I tell him that I am animal lover?
Ready to hear what's going in jungle.

He likes to travel
While being alone
He shares facts
That I like to hear more.

Sometimes he speaks slow
It was hard to hear
I tilt and bow my head
To give him an ear.

Fond of psychology
He read some poems
Stories with tragedies
Within a fictional world.

Maybe it's the last day
We officially meet
Hope for his good future
And goodbye as a greet.
