Evolving - means letting go of this version of me



That doesn’t mean I won’t look back on her



It doesn’t mean I won’t miss her



Saying goodbye at anytime is hard, but saying goodbye to the girl that helped me through everything, is a pain almost too much to bare



She taught me to be a warrior, to fight for everything I wanted and needed



She was there when no one else was

She made sure I didn’t give up the fight

She kept me above water when all I wanted to do was sink

She was and will forever be my life jacket



She is me and I am her



Accepting - means moving on and living the life she knew I could
