In between two worlds i stand
Looking aimlessly for something yet nothing
I can see them going but i am never moving
Toddlers from yesterday i watch them grow which i never do
It is like time has resigned from working
Time ! an old busy for nothing joke playing around
with its joyful noise ticking hard in my head
This makes me stagger ,like a drunkard soaked in palm wine
I can see the worlds holding each other by their necks, like rivals fighting over a man
The war goes on and on
But still, there I stand
In between the worlds.
